About Us

Marcy L. Peake
, Chief Professional Officer of Peake and Associates, has provided individual, group, and programmatic services for over 20 years in public school and non-profit settings.  Her areas of specialization include: service delivery to multicultural youth and families; training and consultation for youth development workers and public school staff; and program design and development for non-profit agencies.  Marcy has provided services to the Boys and Girls Club, The Institute for New Leadership, New Genesis Inc., The Kalamazoo Nature Center, urban and rural school districts, and private family foundations.  She has worked with youth receiving general and special education services (kindergarten through college aged), incarcerated and probationary youth, and youth experiencing trauma and poverty.  Marcy is a State of Michigan Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) and is an approved Great Start to Quality Trainer in Michigan.  She presents at various workshops and conferences, facilitates professional development sessions, is active in social justice initiatives, and is the author of the book Please Understand.  
Marcy currently serves as the Director of Diversity and Community Outreach Initiatives in the College of Education and Human Development at Western Michigan University and is a faculty member in Family Sciences, teaching graduate and undergraduate students.

Our associates are a select group of professionals and experts in the fields of: Parenting, Youth Development, K-12 General and Special Education, Diversity and Inclusion, Non-Profit and Grant Administration, Program and Curriculum Design.  Associates will be assigned to projects according areas of expertise and client need.  Marcy collaborates with clients and associates for services and client satisfaction.

Our junior associates are young people who are able to provide youth expertise and peer perspectives to enhance program service delivery.  These junior associates receive training and supervision for facilitating workshops for children, teens, and young adults, as well as serve in an advisory capacity to drive our youth development work.
